The first step towards self-sufficiency

Today we were finally able to welcome the first animals to the school. As an independent food source, chickens help ensure that the children always have enough to eat.

With the first chickens on the school grounds, an important step toward self-sufficiency has been achieved. As an independent source of food, they help to secure the children's supply in the long term and provide fresh food regularly. For this reason, there is a special focus on raising chicks.

At the same time, the children learn to handle animals responsibly and gain insights into simple agricultural cycles.
