Chess lessons

A few days ago, our school held a chess lesson where the children learned the basics of the game and were able to try out some initial strategies. Chess promotes logical thinking, concentration, patience, and the ability to make forward-thinking decisions – important skills that are valuable far beyond the game itself.

The enjoyment of chess has remained even after the lessons. Many children now meet in their free time to play together, learn from each other, and compete in friendly games . In this way, chess has become a popular leisure activity that uniquely combines learning, community, and fun .
